Community ProjectsStrategenics was born from of a deep desire to help other people achieve their potential. We care for people as we value diversity. In this age of exponential economic and technology disruption, we must act fast to ensure humanity enjoys a safe and happy future. Our team are therefore committed to make a positive global impact and we are collectively invested to deliver our three core business strategies.
On 14 June, Strategenics entered a formal partnership with a women’s refuge located on the Darling Downs. The refuge had been seeking a business partner for some time to support them in providing a safe place for women and children impacted by domestic and family violence. When Australia’s CEO Challenge asked us to step in, we were delighted to sign up.
As part of our partnership, we will help to purchase essential goods and groceries for mothers and their children who are leaving the shelter and starting out again. We can also help out with any specific requests for help or special occasions. Looking forward to making a difference!
CEO Challenge Race
Last year, our Managing Director, Chris Mills joined the CEO Challenge Race to promote awareness of domestic and family violence, whilst raising much-needed funds to support the important work of Australia’s CEO Challenge. The race pits business leaders against each other to raise the most money. Although Chris did raise a few thousand dollars, it wasn’t enough to come out on top, so this year he’ll be signing up to do it all again. Just bigger, better and with even more awareness and $$!
#DVPurpleFriday raising awareness and creating education to address Domestic and Family Violence
Last year, Strategenics partnered with CEO Challenge to bring Purple Friday to life. Workplaces and schools were invited to choose a Friday between April and November to wear purple and raise much needed awareness about domestic and family violence (DFV). Registered organisations had access to a range of resources to help them start meaningful conversations about DFV as well as healthy, respectful relationships.
Creating Opportunities for Young Women
Strategenics offered to support Bella by providing the team the opportunity to participate in a workshop that would help create a new path for the future – doing more with less. Strategenics was instrumental in giving the Bella team confidence to go fully digital and to maximise its online presence.
Bella Magazine, through the help, support and encouragement of Strategenics gained hope and capacity to reach more young women with their message of empowerment and recognition of young women’s value, beauty and purpose.
Join the Drive to save lives
Strategenics is an avid supporter of the Queensland Government’s safe driving initiative ‘Join the Drive to save lives’.
We not only want to get the word out about safe driving, we have developed a suggested safe driving solution for this great initiative. Read more about how we think technology can play a pivotal role towards the future road safety in our community.
Darkness To Daylight
Strategenics is a keen supporter of the annual Darkness to Daylight Challenge, run by our valued partners, Australia’s CEO Challenge.
Since 2017, Strategenics has brought a large contingent of runners and walkers to help to raise much needed funds and awareness about Domestic and Family Violence. Thousands of people participate in the 10km run, with every kilometre travelled dedicated to the number of tragic deaths through domestic violence.
